Get a behind the scenes look of the Santa Ana Zoo and explore how animal habitats are designed, from plants that support natural environments to the ways zookeepers and educators design each space for both animal and guest experience.
 
Jenny Walker is the Animal Care Manager and Acting Zoo Director at the Santa Ana Zoo, where she has dedicated 25 years of service. With nearly three decades of experience in animal care, she brings a deep understanding of how plants and animals can successfully coexist within thoughtfully designed habitats. Drawing on her background in biology and zoology, Jenny specializes in habitat design that integrates edible plantings and enrichment strategies, enhancing both animal well-being and the guest experience.
