Special Evening Lecture: L.A.’s Landmark Restaurants with author, George Geary

Join us for a talk by George Geary, author of L.A.s Landmark Restaurants - Where Angelinos Ate Drank and Played. To mark the publication of this new book he will be visiting to discuss the history of Los Angeles’ most iconic restaurants. George used the Sherman Library & Gardens Research Library archives to research this book, so we are delighted to welcome him back for this event.

George is passionate about history, cooking and conversancy, and he loves to share that passion with others. His previous historical book L.A.’s Legendary Restaurants reflects the historical local spots visited by the Hollywood set. A former pastry chef for the Walt Disney Company, George is also a Certified Culinary Professional and best-selling cookbook author. You may have also seen him on FOX5 San Diego doing food segments, WGN-TV Chicago, and Daytime on the NBC Tampa Station.

Free Talk in the Central Patio Room at SL&G.

Registration Required.

Donations to the Sherman Library & Gardens are welcome on the night.
